Mini-spectrometers
Today, absorption spectrometry is more and more often used in production for chemical analysis of gas, liquid or solid matter. On-line control in exploitation or manufacturing sites is increasing which requires a multiplication of check and measurement points. Therefore the demand for low-cost and ruggedized mini-spectrometers is growing.
SILIOS Technologies offers a range of mini-spectrometers matching this need for many applications: agro-food, medical, petrochemistry, microelectronics, automotive, environment (air, drinking or waste water treatment).
Based on a patented optical chip, manufactured in our clean room, SILIOS mini-spectrometers are configurable at the design stage and dedicated to each customer's specific application. The client chooses the number of wavelengths to be measured and gives their value.
The collective fabrication of optical chip (comparable to microelectronics) enables a drastic price/volume ratio reduction. In addition, the compactness of the spectrometer optical core is a huge advantage for measurement stability and reproducibility.

Supplies
SILIOS provides integrated OEM spectrometry solutions:
- Optical chip: the chips are manufactured on wafers, sliced, controlled and packaged.
- Optical chip/imager: the chip is mounted on pixelized sensors.
- Optical chip/imager/electronic board: the optical chip/imager system is integrated on electronic board that delivers raw data to a USB link (or other) or it performs signal processing to deliver spectrum or instructions.
- Full spectrometer: it integrates optical chip/imager/electronic board and suitable light source with mechanical parts.
