Spectrometry
SILIOS mini-spectrometers arise from the association of a specific passive optical chip and an imager fitted to the measured spectral range. The chip is made up of bandpass filters realized simultaneously on the same wafer (monolithic integration).The imager coupled to the optical chip records a grey scale picture which resolves the spectrum of the incident light into some of its components. The number of filtered spectral bands as well as their centering and width are defined at the design stage according to the customer request.
SILIOS also provides customized sources based on LED (light Emitting Diode) technology. These sources are stable and their lifetime is at least 10 to 100 times longer than any other technology.

Applications
SILIOS mini-spectrometers match specific applications and preferably on-line control applications.

- Analysis of foods water content (NIR / 3λ)
- Analysis of water quality (UV-VIS / 4λ)
- Analysis of factory smokes (FIR / 28λ)
- Analysis of blood (UV-VIS / 13λ)
- Analysis of gas flow (MIR / 6λ)
